My Story

Hello, I am Ashley! A mother to a sweet baby boy and a little girl, a devoted wife to my supportive husband, and a passionate enthusiast of nurturing both body and soul through the practice of yoga.

My yoga journey began over 16 years ago, but my connection with movement has been a lifelong affair. Whether it's the graceful flow of prenatal yoga or the revitalizing embrace of postnatal yoga, I've always been drawn to the profound effects that mindful movement has on my overall well-being.

Prenatal yoga became an integral part of my life during my journey to motherhood. It was during this precious time that I truly discovered the transformative power of yoga. As my body underwent incredible changes, I turned to prenatal yoga to find balance, strength, and inner peace. This practice not only helped me prepare physically and mentally for childbirth but also fostered a deep connection with my growing baby.

After welcoming my beautiful little girl into the world, I embraced the beauty of postnatal yoga. It became my sanctuary, a place where I could reconnect with my body after the incredible journey of pregnancy and childbirth. Through gentle asanas and breathwork, I found healing, strength, and a profound sense of self-care and connections with new mothers.

Yoga has always been my sanctuary, my source of clarity and vitality. Whether I'm flowing through dynamic sequences or surrendering to the serenity of yin yoga, each practice leaves me feeling clearer-minded, comfortable in my own skin, and brimming with newfound energy. And when it's time for yin, it prepares me for a peaceful night's rest, allowing me to wake up refreshed and ready for the joys (and sometimes hardships) of motherhood.

As a mother, wife, and a lover of movement, I'm dedicated to sharing my passion for prenatal and postnatal yoga with other mothers, helping them find strength, serenity, and self-care on their own journeys through motherhood. Join me in embracing the transformative power of yoga, and let's move our way towards a healthier, happier, and more harmonious life together.

My formal teacher training has been led by some amazing women, which include:

200-hour RYT certificate from Valery Petrich, Yoga Studio College of Canada;

70-hour Pre and Post-natal Yoga with Meagan Synnott;

Spinning Babies® Workshop, Nov 2022;

50-hour Yin Yoga from Michelle Mann-Donegan and Dr. Natatlie Carrington, Centered on Centre Ave Yoga;

25-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training from Mamata Yoga;

20-hour Level 2 Yin Yoga with Stephanie Nosco from Nosco Yoga

I am convinced the combination of acupuncture, chiro and your prenatal yoga classes and my overall manifestation of a quick and no intervention birth helped me achieve the natural delivery I was hoping for...I hope to join you for yoga again.

I have never considered myself a yogi and even dislike many forms of yoga. However, if I could do Ashley's class even when not pregnant I would! I enjoyed the small intimate class. I felt safe and comfortable. Ashley is creative, mixing up the practice from week to week and is very flexible to address whatever challenges her clients are currently experiencing. It was also an opportunity to practicing receiving and being cared for as she would get props and help me position them as needed. Ashley is super personable and I can promise that even if you have never done yoga, you will not feel out of place.
